April 2017 Playlist

Back on my old blog I did this thing called a monthly playlist, where once every month I’d post a bunch of indie music I had either discovered recently or have been fond of for a little while. The point of these posts was not only to share good music and track my own progression of taste, but also because a lot of these musicians are fairly unknown and deserve a chance to be heard. This new blog probably won’t get a lot of traction yet, but nevertheless, I’m going to continue this tradition here.

This month I’ve mostly been listening to folk stuff; a lot of Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, and the likes. Enjoy!

  1. White Winter Hymnal – Fleet Foxes

2. Youth – Daughter

3. Upward Over The Mountain – Iron and Wine

4. Holocene – Bon Iver

5. Lights Down Low – Max

    I wasn’t sure if I liked #3 or #4 better.

I think I’d probably pick #4. Iron and Wine is fabulous, but I doubt anyone could compete with the brilliance that is Bon Iver, and especially Holocene, which is timeless.
